I’ve put up a new resource page called Magazine Editorial Scans and updated the light stock section. Going good so far, Hopefully, I will be able to put up some new brush sets and more stock tomorrow.

2 weeks do go by fast. Tomorrow I start school (Term 3). I thought I’d use up some time renovating BlueMonday, but I guess it’d just have to wait.
The good news:
I put up a new layout. It’s bland, simple and not one of my best. But it’d also have to do.
My dad also got a new scanner, so I’ll be updating the stocks section. Just don’t expect too many updates. The artwork section will also be under construction because I haven’t really figured out what to do with it yet. But you can still visit my work at DeviantArt. My DA has every one of my art except for the icons.

Anyway time for some randomness…..
Someone buy me a ticket to Florida. I need to see the new Harry Potter Theme Park. I don’t think I’m going to go anytime soon though. My dad will never let me go to America. He wants to go to Austria and parts of Europe instead. :O
And is anyone excited for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows movie? I can’t wait. Whenever I watch the trailer, I dance. Literally.

Hasn’t it been awhile? I’ve been neglecting and not updating BlueMonday for more than a month. That’s long for me. And I think I need to make some few changes here.

First off, I’d like to say that Cher has now opened a new site called 17dayone. She used to own Randomiss Designs. Oh and not only that-she has also opened her new challenge site called: Gossamer. Give her new sites a try,
Secondly: Thanks to everyone who visited, commented and gave some feedback on my new *cough, cough* layout. And like most people, I don’t really like the scrolling for content and whatever. So, I’m working on another new layout. I seem to change a lot of my layouts because I get sick of them easily. Like most people who own sites anyway. LOL.
Thirdly: The visitor content needs to change. I don’t think anyone uses them anyway. I’m going to trash some out and keep some in. Give me some ideas on what I should keep????? I was thinking of maybe more articles on real life stuff, some personal opinions, etc. I was never really a resource maker. Oh and my art will be replaced by my deviantart link. It’s a bit easier that way.

Okay, let’s all start fresh. Hello, my name is Patricia and I own BlueMonday. I’m interested in a lot of things. Vintage. Fashion. Graphic design. Photography. Baking cake. Wishing upon night stars. New layout up again. It’s a bit similar to the last one, but I hope you enjoy it. I’m only gonna update from now on. If I have the time to blog, I will do that. I have so little time to blog-there’s so much homework. (And I should be doing History and English now, LOL).

Being Found.

So just then I was looking for something through my house. (*cough*, it was Norton 360 I was looking for because I needed it to install on my dad’s computer). Now, unfortunately my house is pretty big and all this stuff just goes missing. I went through all this junk stuffed away in the study room, the kitchen cabinets (yes, you never know what’s in there), the boxes in my bedroom, the hallway closets, the sun room… practically everywhere. I still haven’t found that Norton 360 yet, but I have found….. lost…. things.
To sum everything up, I have found: a prehistoric calculator, sunglasses, heaps of unused christmas cards and envelopes, OLD photos printed when digital cameras weren’t popular, a Seaworld photo when we were on holiday at Queensland eons ago, an old letter to my friend that was never sent and I found my parent’s marriage certificate (no use of that now). Those were just some of the things I found though.

You never know what you’ll find in all those nooks and crannies.

As of site updates, I’m terribly sorry. I’m just lame, haha. I couldn’t make of a new layout-I’m always out of ideas. But I’ve been updating the art section. And today I added a new retouch:

I will submit this for a contest and maybe I’ll make a layout to go with it.

Ergh. My host’s host had a problem with it’s server but thanks to Jessica, my site is back up again! I have so much to add to my art section but bare with me. You’ll soon see some updates and maybe a…. new layout. AGAIN.
Things have been happening in my offline life. I went to the movies with friends, and my sister and I hung out with my mum yesterday.
As for when I’m home, I caught up with Fringe on DVD. My second favourite show in the world. I watched some other movies like Up which I cried while watching it. Call me weird, but….
I also discovered the world of challenges at home. Special mention to: Nicole’s, Lucy’s, Destiny’s and Nani’s, which I have entered in.

The title says it all. Happy Easter everyone and enjoy your holidays, As you can probably tell, I have a new layout up. It’s a bit simple and I was experimenting different styles. And this layout was the result. I don’t think it’s that great though. I have added the art/portfolio section so go check it out! Tell me what you think, hmm?

Nothing much has been going on these days. My friend invited my sister and I to her birthday party and we don’t know what to get her. I’m a bit out of ideas these days and I want some of your ideas. I know that my friend likes pink, Taylor Swift, Taylor Lautner and anything cute. I was thinking of getting her a Taylor Swift album but I’m afraid that everyone else is going to get her that.
Oh and since she’s obsessed with Taylor Lautner, I decided to photo-manipulate her with Taylor. I’m gonna stick this on her b’day card. (click to view full size).

I’m doing a little behind-the-scenes revamp. I’m converting my site into a portfolio website but I’ll keep making resources. I’m taking away most of the graphics section, but I’ll keep the wallpaper section up. Not a real big change but I’d thought you’d like to know. I’m in the process of making another layout for BlueMonday too. There will be a lot going on but I do have the time and effort now, because it’s the holidays. I didn’t go to school today (it’s the last day of term, so I was really lazy).

How are you guys all doing? It’s been days since I’ve updated but as you can probably tell, I’ve been pretty busy with school work. I just felt the website being a teeny, tiny bit neglected and thought I should post you some un-interesting updates of my life. Oh and by the way, you may see pages deleted and new ones appearing. I’m sort-of doing a little revamp. I’ve deleted the Frames section and the Stock Photos section and I would like to make a signature/blends section and an article section. Oh and I want to make more brushes and tutorials, but I’m just so lazy. &..busy.
I had a really weird weekend. My parent’s issues have not been sorted out yet and I really, really want everything to end. My dad went to my mum’s workplace on Saturday even though he was not exactly welcome there.
The last time my dad was at my mum’s workplace, there was a…. commotion. My dad fought with my mum, but all he wanted to do was to talk. Instead she (or that guy I hate that made our family tear apart) called the police with her boss backing her up and the rest of her so called “co-workers”. (That boss of hers is a fucked up pig. Oh and I’m really sorry that I’m swearing. I don’t usually do this). And then everyone got into all of this mess. The police got involved and oh yeah did you remember the time I told you that I accompanied my dad to court? It was all because of this. My mum trying to sue my dad and everything.
So, anyway I went with a my dad to my mum’s workplace on Saturday because I was concerned that my dad would get into huge trouble this time. He only wants to talk to my mum about their financial agreement, since she wouldn’t pick up his phone calls and doesn’t want to meet him. My dad has this huge temper especially with people like my mum, her boss, etc, so I was trying not to get involved and keep an eye on my dad.
We walked in (I can’t believe that my dad still had this huge confidence), and I saw my mum coming out of the office bathroom. She looked… terrible to me. Like the fact she’s lacking sleep, her skin is not in good condition, etc. I called out “mum” and she just looked at me and my sister as if we were strangers. We haven’t seen our mum for 2 months and she didn’t even say hi, or anything. When she saw my dad, she started to get agitated and started flinging things at him. So of course my dad would start shouting.
Ergh, they quieted down a bit when the manager came out and this dude that was very rude who kept eavesdropping on our conversation. (He spoke chinese too, no wonder). The boss was hiding and everything and it was clearly evident that he was scared of my dad. (The boss likes money and business and doesn’t care about the workers there, especially my mum who worked there for more than 6 years).

I could keep going on and on about Saturday and Sunday but you guys don’t need the details. (Yes, we went back to the workplace on Sunday to get things straight. I know, it’s complicated). My parents are both too complicated for me to understand then anymore. It’s so hard to find the truth they tell anymore too.

I might leave some of you confused but, some things aren’t worth fighting for and I think my mum (& not only my mum, others too) just don’t understand this.

I’ve put up this new layout that I’ve been working on. Thank you all for the great comments about the previous layout and I hope you all enjoy this new one too. The layout features lyrics from Explain by Sarah Blasko. She is a very talented singer and I urge you to listen to one of her songs even if you don’t like indie pop.

Blood, Blood and More Blood.

EEK, I have so much assignments from school that you wouldn’t believe. So that’s why I haven’t had the time to make the new layout and more resources.
Speaking of school…….
My day started well. It was grey, cloudy and rainy but at least there wasn’t any problems except for my sore throat. After my Textiles class, My friend and I walked through the crowded pathway. I was trying get through when I banged my knee on one of those stupid silver seats.
SO as you can probably guess I had a little bit of blood coming out as I banged it so hard. Oh and did I mention that I got a big bruise? -.-
I asked my friend who always has this fist aid kit in her bag for a band-aid. Thank goodness she did have one otherwise I would’ve walked out with a huge bruise on my knee.
After school I remembered that I needed to go to the doctors because the skin on my face had patches of red and irritation and I thought it could have been a sign of allergies. My dad took me there and my doctor said there are a number of reasons why my face could be like this. He decided that I should take a blood test then and there.
I’ve had a blood test last year at the hospital. I kept clinging onto my mum’s hands because I didn’t like the needle going into my skin. I remembered that it hurt, so that was why I was freaked out by taking another blood test today.

I went into the room where they did the blood test. A woman was there getting the needles and stuff. I kept asking questions especially repeating if the blood test would hurt. I was getting nervous and my fingers were digging into my dad’s hand. The woman told me to close my hand and then open it when she injected the needle in my arm.
OW.
It hurt but then after when she kept getting 3 more tubes for storing my blood, it was alright. When the woman finally took away the needle I was so… relieved. I never ever want a blood test again. If I can avoid it.
I couldn’t look at my own 4 tubes of blood for ages. And when I accidentally touched a tube, it was warm. Eww.
I know that humans are warm-blooded and stuff but when I felt tube of blood it was strange.

Edit/ Bahaa I’m so sorry for not returning comments and not updating. I have a zillion comments to return and hopefully I can start the new layout soon. Assignments, projects and homework are all poking me right now- damn History and English. SO, yeah, I’ll be back soon /Edit
For computing skills at school our class needs to make an animation for at least 30 sec. on Flash CS4. Mine will be based on the top 10 things I like doing. My list includes:

Designing (Of course)! But it’s not only graphic designing. It’s also includes fashion designing (sometimes I draw pieces of clothing in a notebook when I feel inspired) and other little things.
Baking Cake I bake cake when I have time. My goal is to make blue cupcakes and buy a vintage cupcake stand.
Writing I do write occasionally. I think the books I’ve read made me want to write. I remembered I once wrote a chapter because I wanted to write a little book. Instead I abandoned the project. haha. Silly me. It could of turned out alright.
But a recent thought occurred to me. I feel inspired to write fiction based on my life right now. Is it a good idea though?
Reading When I was younger I loved to read. And probably that’s why I have glasses now. My favourite genres are fantasy, comedy and chick lit books.
Listening to music It’s great when I need to relax. Oh and I listen to music when I’m surfing the internet. Sometimes even when I read!
Watching Movies It’s a great way to relax too. Movies are just fun to watch.
Taking Photos Fun and creative. Taking snapshots or photography.
Eating Ice-cream Enough said.
Shopping Every girl loves shopping, no doubt! I love clothing shopping and I wish I can also say I love shoe shopping but it’s never going to work.
Talking I actually do like to talk a lot. But when people meet me, they think I don’t talk much.

There’s not much updates except 5 new icons. I will make some new brush sets on the weekend.

Someone get this teacher out of my way

Just felt like blogging today, because nothing much else is happening. It’s Saturday and I just went to the orthodontist for a check-up. They put new wires in and they did something to my sister’s teeth and gave her a pack of gum. I asked what it was for and she said it was for her teeth.
Haha she has a reason to chew gum in school now, even though it isn’t allowed.
And now that I mention school…. I have some rants to chew through.
Would somebody please tell me what is wrong with my math teacher? It’s like she’s haunting me with the worst, worst Algebra questions.
You see, my sister Emily was in her class last year. And because Emily had to be such a brainy person she had most of the teacher’s questions right.
So, that’s where I come in. I’m not such a smart person academically. My math teacher compares Emily and I and because we’re TWINS she even gets muddled up in which one of us is in her class this year.
I don’t think she understands that I just can’t work out questions on the board in front of the class. I can do ALL of those questions she asks me but I need to do it alone, in my own little space and time. Not when people are whispering the answers to me.

I’m deciding to watch a movie today or tomorrow. Can you believe that Avatar is still on? Maybe I’ll go shopping after because I really need new shoes. I’m in love with ballet flats-they’re so comfortable and cute, haha.

I’m so so sorry! My site got deleted and so did my fanupdate. I came home from school trying to quickly recover everything and now it’s all good except for my blogs, ahaha.
